It’s time to mark the official kick-off to training for the Road Runner Sports Scottsdale Challenge. Participants are beginning to log miles on their journey toward the start line. The Official Training Program is designed to help you race your best on April 12.
Arizona Track N’ Trail has developed adaptable training programs for new runners, intermediate runners and experienced runners.
Training with AZ TNT provides groups runs as well as suggestions for weekly mileage, cross training and rest days, and is designed for runners of varying abilities.
Join Arizona Track N’ Trail at 6:00 a.m. every Saturday morning at LifeTime Fitness (on Gilbert/Warner) for free group runs. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcome. Work on your speed and skills at the Arizona Track N’ Trail track workouts at Gilbert High School every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Cap your training week with a run on trails every Sunday. The training schedules have room to build in cross training, speed work, tempo or hills to fit your skill level.
